Drei Zinnen - ultimate dolomite adventure

The Three Peaks, or Tre Cime di Lavaredo in Italian, are an independent mountain massif consisting of three impressive rock towers. These peaks in the Sexten Dolomites feature imposing north faces with numerous difficult routes, as well as normal routes and other ascents. These are typically achievable objectives for the average climber.

During the middle of summer, there is usually no trace of snow left, but nevertheless, the Tre Cime reach an impressive height of 2,999 meters (Cima Grande - the Great and Western Peak). This means that you are standing on a 2,000-meter peak but breathing the air as if you were on a 3,000-meter peak!

We will plan your stay according to your wishes. With Rifugio Auronzo, Lavaredo, Locatelli, and Malga Langalm, we have a variety of mountain hut options. It is also possible to stay in a beautiful hotel in Cortina d'Ampezzo, at a campsite, or even in your van in the parking lot of the Three Peaks. Once we know what you're looking for, we'll gladly organize it.

The suggested itinerary below is an example of what your adventure could look like. After a day of getting to know each other and preparing for the rock climbing tours, we will ascend routes on each of the Three Peaks in the following days.

At each of the Tre Cime, we have many choices:

For newcomers to the alpine world, there are normal routes of moderate difficulty.

If you already have experience in rock climbing, you can follow in the footsteps of well-known climbers like Dibona, Innerkofler, and Preuss and tackle routes of a higher difficulty level.

If you are an experienced climber, we can see if we can include a climbing tour of a higher difficulty level here and there. For example, the famous Dülfer-Verschneidung V+ or the Demuth V.

If you climb at an advanced level, we can consider the great classics on the peaks. Once again, famous names come up: Cassin, Yellow Edge, Comici...

The selection of routes and the overall course of your adventure will, of course, be tailored to your individual wishes and abilities, as well as the (weather) conditions.

Due to the length of the routes on the rock towers and the alpine nature of the climbs, the guidance of a professional mountain guide is required to ascend these peaks. For your safety on these alpine walls, our guides accompany a maximum of two people on this adventure. If you wish to travel with more people, the cost will be slightly cheaper as we will only require an additional guide from the second day onwards.

Furthermore, we only employ guides with extensive experience in the Dolomites for these rock climbing adventures.

In addition to the Three Peaks, we also offer ascents in other massifs of the Dolomites: Marmolada, Langkofel, Sella, Puez, etc.
